  • 4 Unusual experience, but well worth it

i wasn't really sure what to expect when i first went here. However it's a great experience and the food is excellent. A huge choice for all tastes and the quantity is suprising large, especially with the soups. The seating arrangement is unusual in that you sit on benches and therefore could be sat next to someone you don't know, but it seems to work. For those who can't use chopsticks, you do have to ask for cutlery!Prices vary depending on type of main course, but all are affordable.Overall this is well worth a visit. It is also worth joining the mailing list on their website as there are offers and discounts. Most recent one was buy one main meal get one free!

  • 4 Lots of choice and happy atmosphere

Was a bit sceptical of this place thinking it would be the usual chain standard however, was very pleasantly surprised. Instead of tables there are long benches or window spots for two to four people. The menu is easily laid out and simple to understand. There are a number of vegetarian options – not just boring stuff either. Service is usually really quick and there is always someone around to ask for a drinks top up. The portions are a good size with the vegetarian noodle soup option resembling an Olympic swimming pool. Don’t be scared to ask for cutlery if needed – you won’t be frowned upon. Can be a bit pricey if you go for starters, main and desert however, you normally don’t need to eat for quite a while afterwards! Well worth a visit – just not at lunchtime on Saturday otherwise join the queue out the door!
