My daughter was recently baptized and we wanted to go to a restaurant with a classy/elegant feel to it and after hunting around for a while we found the Hand & Sceptre. Very friendly & great service were our first impressions and all in such elegant and relaxing surroundings. The tables are very nicely spaced out and all the staff are more than willing to help, which is a very welcome change. The food is excellent and they don't leave you waiting too long at all, and with generous helpings too, so you will not leave feeling hungry! The only down side was the lack of parking at busy times. We had to park across the road near to the common, which is ok and quite near but a bit of a task to cross the very busy main road. This will not put us off though & we'll be going again & again! Keep up the great work!
