• Enchanting!

  Grombridge place gardens and enchanted forest is exactly that - Enchanting! There are many peacocks and peahens roaming the grounds, fantastic birds of prey displays run by a truely admirable chap who exudes amazing passion about what he is doing. The gardens are beautifully tended and the enchanted forest can be reached by a short walk along the riverside, or a canal boat ride for a small fee. There you wiil find an amazing adventure playground for the children, or if you prefer a quiet stroll, the forest is packed with eye catching and unusual displays hiding in amongst the trees - keep your eyes open as there is so much to see, even the trees have eyes! You can also see deer and an array of woodland birds. There is a good quality tea shop with a range of sandwiches and cakes, and also a small plant centre and gift shop so you can take a little mommento home with you. To me Groombridge is a little piece of heaven on earth and a perfectly wonderful way to spend a lazy day
