Amadeus recently installed a soundproof drum room into a converted garden building for a young drummer in Kent who likes play late into the night.

The drummer, who lives in Faversham, didn't want to disturb surrounding neighbours during his late rehearsal sessions in the converted building in his garden. We designed a stunning soundproof drum room to fit perfectly within the existing building, and had to work around numerous structural obstacles such as supportive ceiling beams.

The interior of the pod has been beautifully finished with printed acoustic panels, a glass acoustic door, and contemporary blue neon plugs and electrical points.

Our client is now able to play drums at any hour of the day or night, and he doesn’t disturb anyone around him. He also uses the acoustic pod as a band rehearsal room with his friends and colleagues.

Bedstone College, in Shropshire, approached Amadeus to help enhance the facilities of their thriving music department: a recording studio, band rehearsal room, and three smaller music teaching rooms were urgently required alongside the college's existing facilities.

The recording studio and modular rooms would each create a vast amount of noise and would therefore require some impressive acoustic soundproofing ...
