A rainbow of fruit and vegetables

Fed up of having to eat the perfectly shaped fruit and vegetables on offer in supermarkets I decided to visit the farm shop my brother has raved about since moving to Kent. I must say, it didn’t disappoint and he was spot on. Not only does it have a vast pick your own area – strawberries, plums, apples………there is also a farm shop too. Here, I was overwhelmed by the sheer choice of goods on offer. Yes, the prices are way higher than your average supermarket but boy did his car smell delicious once I’d finished! There were quiches and cheeses, cakes and pies…….never have I eaten so much proper home grown food. The taste was second to none. Take the strawberries, huge plump sweet things, so ripe and juicy. I’ve asked my brother to post me up some more!
