• Waste of time and money

  I hired House Angels for an end of tenancy clean for my new house. They did a quick clean of the house, it smelled great when I went in, but on closer inspection I very quickly realised that they hadn't actually carried out the majority of the work that I had paid for. Their terms and conditions state that they will send a cleaner back to rectify complaints made once only; their website also says they are not satisfied until you are: this is complete rubbish. I have contacted them several times since they "cleaned" my house and have had no response at all. The list below is what they were supposed to do v what they actually did (or didn't!) do: Vacuum thoroughly throughout: Vacuuming has been carried out but not thoroughly especially round edges of floors and in corners Dust/polish: Dusting has not been carried out in many places - such as window sills throughout the house, fireplaces throughout the house, pantry cupboard shelves in the kitchen, drawer unit in the bedroom (this is not an exhaustive list) Sweep/mop floors where appropriate: Sweeping has not been carried out thoroughly, especially round the edges of floors and in corners. Mopping has not been carried out thoroughly - many of the floors are feel sticky underfoot, particularly in the kitchen and utility room Clean bath/shower cubicle: No attempt seems to have been made to properly clean tiles - I found a pubic hair behind the shower pole De scale where possible: Not done in bathroom Wash down kitchen cupboards (outsides only unless empty): not done. Kitchen cupboards were empty except for debris. I had to clean these myself and they were filthy - I found spilled pasta tubes, a shreddie and some sort of syrup spilled down the inside of a cupboard door (among other things) Wash over windowsills and ledges: not done. See above Wash over door frames and Skirting's: No attempt has been made to do this. There is a lot of dust on the door frames and the skirting boards are filthy Clean light switches/plugs: not done. Plugs and light switches do not look like they have been cleaned. Remove any cobwebs: not done. There are cobwebs all over the house - on walls, ceilings and light fittings as well as inside kitchen cupboards In addition to this, the hob was not properly cleaned. I've only given them 1 star as you can't award less! I would recommend finding a professional company to do your moving house clean - or you are likely to end up having to do it yourself!

• Fantastic House cleaners

  My wife and I were leaving our 4 bed property at the end of our tenancy and called in House Angels to clean the house for us. They did a fantastic job and would recommend without hesitation
